This talk will probe significant developments in Sound Art over the last two decades, with reference to conceptual changes and technological advances, indicating key works and projects. Aesthetic shifts will be considered in the context of wider artistic practices – emphasising hybridisation, integration, scale, location, augmentation, immersion, interaction, collaboration and mediation. The study is based on personal experience and recently conducted interviews withartists and academics.<br/
