Disoreintasi Manajemen Pembangunan Daerah Kepulauan Di Propinsi Bangka Belitung

Marine economic potential is enormous, but the level of welfare is still very low. Ironically poverty found in many areas of real islands have abundant potential resources. The root cause for this is a development approach that is still adopting continental paradigm. The purpose of this study was to find out the problems and strategies for solving problems of sustainability management archipelago area. The research is descriptive qualitative method, data collection using observation. in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with stakeholders, HNSI, the province of Bangka Belitung. Research results show Bangka Belitung Islands Province as one is still faced with the dynamics and problems of the islands. Aspects of natural resource management, environmental damage caused by illegal tin mining, the traditional fishermen who can not compete with foreign fishermen and outside the island, conflict management of coastal areas, and the spread of the islands led to the high cost of the aspects of education, health and public services, and the map of the area development areas between conservation areas and protected forests unclear. For that the islands should receive special attention from the central government, the need for regulation and anagement of development that is different from the mainland regions.
