Pengaruh Pemberian Hormon Tiroksin Pada Pakan Pellet Megami Terhadap Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Kerapu Cantang (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus-Lanceolatus)

Grouper E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus is one type of marine fish that is economically valuable and can be developed into a promising cultivation commodity. The problem of E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus cultivation is the growth of fish that is still classified as slow so that encourage researchers to conduct study related to the effect of giving of tiroksin in pellet feed. Results There was no significant effect of thyroxine hormone treatment on growth of length, weight, and daily weight of grouper E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus. However, based on statistical test the research data showed no significant differences in growth of length, weight, and daily weight in each hormone treatment. The success rate of E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus is high, and the mortality rate is low. The highest treatment dose on long growth rate of fish and weight addition and daily growth of grouper E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus cantang at the treatment of 0.6 mg / kg-feedKerapu cantang E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus merupakan salah satu jenis ikan laut yang bernilai ekonomis serta dapat dikembangkan menjadi komoditas budidaya yang menjanjikan. Permasalahan budidaya E. E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus yakni pertumbuhan ikan yang masih tergolong lamban sehingga mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan kajian terkait dengan pengaruh pemberian Tiroksin pada pakan pellet. Hasil yang diperoleh Tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan perlakuan hormon tiroksin yang diberikan terhadap pertumbuhan panjang, berat, serta bobot harian ikan kerapu cantang E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus. Akan tetapi berdasarkan uji statistik data penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pertumbuhan panjang, berat, serta bobot harian pada masing-masing perlakuan hormon. Tingkat keberhasilan hidup ikan kerapu cantang E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus tergolong tinggi, serta laju mortalitasnya tergolong rendah. Dosis perlakuan paling tinggi pada laju pertumbuhan panjang ikan dan penambahan bobot serta pertumbuhan harian ikan kerapu cantang E. fuscoguttatus-lanceolatus yakni pada perlakuan 0,6 mg/kg-paka
