Die Verfügbarkeit von mit Hochdurchsatzmethoden genotypisieren SNP-Markern für das Rindergenom erlaubt die Rekonstruktion von durch Inzucht entstandenen „Runs of Homozygosty“ (ROH). Ein ROH ist ein Segment von DNA ohne Heterozygotie im diploiden Status. Der Anteil des Genoms in solchen ROH ist ein direkter Schätzer für den Inzuchtgrad. In dieser Arbeit wird aus ROH ermittelte Inzuchtgrad (FROH) mit der Pedigree-Inzucht (Fped) vergleichen.
