In dieser Arbeit wurden nukleare Aktivitäten in drei aktuellen Fragestellungen durch Herkunftsbestimmungen mittels Isotopensignaturen verfolgt. Zunächst wurden Urin und Haare eines österreichischen UNO-Soldaten nach einer möglichen Uranvergiftung mittels ICP-Q-MS untersucht. Die Werte im Urin waren nicht hoch genug, um eine Kontamination festzustellen. Jedoch wurde ein hoher Hintergrund in den Blanks gemessen, der von ubiquitären natürlichen Uranquellen stammt. Auch bei den mit LA-ICP-MS untersuchten Haaren konnte keine Kontamination beobachtet werden.
