Introduction: Information technology is vital to support dental care services and is yet to be thoroughly investigated. This study aims to assess the dentists’ needs and requirements for health records from dental care providers’ perspectives. Methods: In-depth interviews were conducted with dentists during clinic practices. This qualitative research method involves exploring the information and functions dentists use to obtain information from EHR. The target population is the dental staff interacting with the patients and accessing the electronic health records in the government and private sectors.
