The Importance of The Teacher's Role in Classroom Management

The teacher as class manager is a person who has a strategic role, namely the person who plans the activities to be carried out in class. This article aims to describe the importance of the teacher's role in classroom management. The method used in this article is a qualitative descriptive approach and uses journal reviews as source material. The results of this study are that the teacher's role is very important in class management. To set a conducive classroom atmosphere , comfortable and achieved a good learning process. Teachers are expected to plan and deliver teaching in classroom management. The purpose of class management carried out by the teacher is to function as a regulator of student activities so that these activities support the learning process in educational institutions (schools); furthermore, the learning process in these institutions (schools) can run smoothly, orderly and regularly so that they can contribute to the achievement of school goals and overall educational goals Keywords: Teacher, Learning, Classroom Management DOI: 10.23960/jmmp.v9.i2.2021.02
