A partir de 6500 BC, au Néolithique final, de profondes mutations ont lieu en Anatolie centrale qui affectent plusieurs aspects de la vie quotidienne des communautés locales. On observe des changements dans les pratiques funéraires, les productions artistiques, la mobilité humaine et pastorale, les relations entre habitants, qui démontrent une compétition sociale accrue. L’industrie lithique ne semble pas impactée par ces bouleversements.
