THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CLUSTERING TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE THE WRITING SKILLS OF EIGHTH-GRADERS AT MTS KEPPE

This thesis aimed to discover that the clustering technique was more effective in teaching writing recount text to the eighth-grade students of MTs Keppe. This research is Pre-Experimental Research. In this thesis, the data collection techniques were tests and documentation. There were two kinds of tests used, namely pre-test and post-test. In this study, the researcher took one class as a sample. Class VIII B is an experimental class; this class had twenty-one students. However, only ten students followed the treatments as samples. The results showed that the significance level (sig.) of the pre-test between the experimental class had the same level of (0.00 < 0.05) and the mean value of the pre-test in the experimental class was 29.70, and the post-test was 41.00.
