Aims: The objective of the study was to assess the variables related to public support for a possible new lockdown due to the 2nd wave of the COVID-19 in Lithuania. Methods: An online survey was conducted with 502 participants living in Lithuania at the end of the first COVID-19 lockdown. The questionnaire assessed 1) perceived hazard of the virus; 2) perceived damage by the virus; 3) perceived effects of the lockdown. Results: The absolute majority (85.1%) of the sample would support a strict lockdown. Support for the lockdown was positively predicted by the perceived hazard of the virus and negatively – by the effect on the relationship with family members of the previous lockdown.
