The SoLid experiment (Search for Oscillations with a Lithium-6 detector) aims to measure the anti-neutrino flux near a research reactor (BR2, SCK-CEN, Belgium). The first objective is to probe the "reactor" anomaly and to test the hypothesis of the existence of "light" sterile neutrino(s) (Delta m2~1eV2). Secondly, the measurement of the energy spectrum of neutrinos induced by the fission of uranium 235 will offer new constraints and will allow to probe the "gallium" anomaly. The 1.6 ton detector, segmented into 12800 detection cubes of 5x5x5 cm3, is based on a new technology using two scintillators (PVT and ZnS) read by MPPCs.
