M. Romeris about polities and regimes

Mykolas Romeris had published quite number articles of law theme. Most of them are referred to polity (regime). Basics of them are two: presidential and parliamentary. The latter is classified: classic parlamentarism, which was in England in 19th century and Continental Europe, which was absorbed from England, a little bit perverted and leaded to the dictatorship. According to Mykolas Romeris, the Parliament polity developed from Polity of Prerogative. Regime of Plebiscite (or also called Polity of Cabinet) has changed the Classic Parlamentarism of England. Despite these mentioned polities, in Mykolas Romeris institute „Governmental Law“(„Valstybinė teisė“) there are analyzed these regimes: perverted European Continental, regime of directorate in Switzerland as well as the Soviets regime
