Mediation – the proces of criminal dispute solution

In this article we discuss about the possibilities to infix the mediation institute into Lithuanian’s law system. We analyze and construe the differences between solving criminal disputes in courtroom and using the mediation the mediation process. We try to detect and analyze the relation between the victim and offender during the mediation process, and find out how to make mediation ceremonies more successful. We prove, that it is really possible to achieve the reintegration and correction of offender using the mediation service. The main point of mediation ceremonies is to make the victim feel important after the crime is made, also to achieve the conciliation between offender and the victim., without the influence of legal institutions
