Content and professional foreign language integrated learning

The paper provides a theoretical description of content and language integrated learning which is a good way to develop both language and content skills. Language, meaning and content are integrated. The paper aims at discussing the importance of content and language integrated learning in higher education and also analysing how it practically helps to develop both the better language performance and the more efficient acquisition of content related language. The paper involves the case study of the groups of KTU and Kaunas college students who have been working according to content and language integrated learning model for the whole semester. It gives recommendations of applying this method in the faculty of Public Security at Mykolas Romeris University
