Nouveau regard sur l'évolution des pratiques mortuaires dans l'ouest francilien à la fin du Néolithique : état des lieux et perspectives de recherche

National audience"Following researches undertaken over the Neolithic era of the west from the Île-de-France since the years 1970, a new collective project was controlled by the departments of Yvelines and the Val-d'Oise between 2012 and 2014 around the study of life ways at the end of the Neolithic. This work was gathered in four broad research topics: the detection of the sites, the chronology, the habitat and saving in production, funeral practices. The present contribution draws up an inventory of fixtures of the evolution of the funeral practices in the area of the study in the light in particular of the results of the relative and absolute datings. New prospects emergent modifying appreciably the vision of the behavior of the Neolithic human societies facing death.""Dans la lignée des recherches menées sur le Néolithique de l’ouest francilien depuis les années 1970, un nouveau projet collectif a été piloté par les départements des Yvelines et du Val-d’Oise entre 2012 et 2014 autour de la caractérisation de l’occupation du territoire à la fin du Néolithique. Dans ce cadre les travaux ont été rassemblés en quatre grands thèmes de recherche : la détection des sites, la chronologie, l’habitat et l’économie de production, les pratiques mortuaires. La présente contribution dresse un état des lieux de l’évolution des pratiques mortuaires dans la zone d’étude à la lumière notamment des résultats des datations relatives et absolues. De nouvelles perspectives émergent modifiant sensiblement la vision du comportement des sociétés humaines néolithiques face à la mort.
