Selected Crop Enterprise Cost Budgets for Oregon

Excerpt: The purpose of this report is to make available to cooperating agencies the crop enterprise cost data developed as input data to the Pacific Northwest Region least-cost linear programming model. These crop budgets were prepared specifically for use in an economic evaluation of the productive capacity of the land resources. Therefore, the input costs, machinery performance rates, and assumptions in the budgets, are consistent in all budgets. Costs were calculated by a crop budget generator program developed at Oklahoma State University and recently installed on the computer at Oregon State University. Use of the crop budget generator greatly facilitates calculation of costs and consistency of assumptions among budgets
