Benefits of Nursing now project for the Czech healthcare system.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map what Nursing Now project brings to Czech healthcare system. Theoretical part of thesis is focused on nursing, nurse profession and nurse education. Further it informs about Nursing Now project. Empirical part of thesis was made by quantitative and qualitative research method. Quantitative research was performed using a questionnaire, which was answered by 207 respondents. To reach the aim of thesis the hypotheses were set: 1. There is statistically significant relationship between the opinion on the benefit of the Nursing Now project for the Czech healthcare system and the education of nurses. 2. There is statistically significant relationship between the opinion on the benefit of the Nursing Now project for the Czech healthcare system and the job of nurses. 3. There is statistically significant relationship between joining to project Nursing Now and the education of nurses. Qualitative research was performed by semi-structured interview. The Interview was conducted with expert group in the field of Nursing Now project. The group consisted of six informants. To reach the aim of thesis were set research questions: How to define a Nursing Now project? What are the goals of Nursing Now Czech Republic? How Nursing Now project affected Czech healthcare? What benefit has the Nursing Now project for Czech healthcare system? How will the goals of Nursing Now be met in future? From the results was processed, the project helped to nurses and nursing increase visibility in society. But the benefits of the project could be affected by pandemics. It was found that the opinion on the benefits of the project does not depends on education but depends on the job position of the nurse. It was also found that the participation in project is not determined by the education of the nurse. The results of the research may be inspirational for other projects, which could contribute to nursing and healthcare development
