Methods of Addiction Treatment in Substance - Dependent Users Serving a Sentence of Imprisonment

The bachelor's thesis deals with addiction treatment effects in the execution of imprisonment from the point of view of convicts. In the theoretical part I describe the drug problem, I focus on the concept of addiction, types of drugs and addiction treatment outside prison. In the second part of the theoretical part, I pursue the execution of imprisonment and treatment in the execution of imprisonment. The practical part contains findings, whether the treatment in prisons is applied and beneficial for convicts. It describes the case studies of the people I interviewed and analyzed of the interviews was conducted, which are summarized in the discussion
