Possibilities of social work performing in the department of material distress

The bachelor's thesis deals with the possibilities of performing social work in the department of material need. The first part of the bachelor thesis deals with the Labor Office of the Czech Republic, its organizational structure and history. It further specifies in which departments of the labor office social work is performed, who is competent to perform it. The bachelor's thesis deals in more detail with the benefits of material need, the profession of social worker and the education it needs to perform its profession. It also describes the cooperation between the social worker of material need and other organizations. The practical part deals with the research, which was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey. Social workers from the material need department were contacted in order to find out their opinions on the issue
