The parents' view on parenting education

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of education in the field of parenthood. The theoretical part is focused on defining the issue of parenthood. Specifically, these are the motives for parenthood, the issue of late parenthood, ideas about parenthood, or the influence of the media on parenthood. The next chapters of the theoretical part present educational styles, trends in parenting and transgenerational transfer of education. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on parental education and the presentation of courses in which the respondents participated. The empirical part is processed qualitatively and through semi-structured interviews finds out the view of parents, or mothers, on education in the field of parenthood. Specifically, what their reasons were for enrolling in the courses and how they reflected the benefits of the courses or the change that took place as a result of attending the courses
