Working with a fairy tale book in kindergarten.

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of language skills through the use of stories made of cubes using fairy tales. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the fairy tale as a means of developing the child's personality in the area of preliteracy and language skills development in preschool children. The theoretical part deals with preliteracy and reading strategies. It characterizes the current conception of preschool education and the developmental peculiarities of the preschool child with regard to the development of language skills and reading preliteracy. In the practical part, a program based on reading continuation was designed to develop children's reading preliteracy using reading strategies. Stories were created with the children using blocks, thus developing their language skills. Observation, interview and analysis of educational materials were used during the implementation of the activities. Reading activities that promote children's interest in books and related activities proved to be appropriate. The children expanded their vocabulary, and improved their expressive skills
