Determinants of Financial Literacy

The master thesis deals with the issue of financial literacy among university students in the Czech Republic. Its content is an overview of the programs and strategies of multinational and government organizations dealing with the financial literacy of the population, as well as an analysis of a questionnaire survey. Four factors were selected using findings from searches of foreign professional articles and research, and their influence on the financial literacy of university students was tested on the basis of established hypotheses. The mentioned factors included the effect of gender, the effect of age, the effect of the studied field and the effect of the studied year of study
