The Issue of Surnames' Gender Inflection in the Czech Language)

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is surnames' gender inflection in the Czech language. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part includes chapters that are related to surnames' gender inflection: gender and gender linguistics, gender roles and feminism. In the chapter devoted to feminism, the work deals mainly with historical development and the current state. The surnames' gender inflection then creates a separate chapter. The work focuses on why we do surnames' gender inflection and how we create surnames' gender inflection shapes. The practical part of the work consists of research, which is processed using an anonymous questionnaire. The research aims to find out the opinion of the population of different age categories on the given issue
