Leisure time of pre-school aged children and parents

The bachelor's thesis pertains to the topic of shared time between parents and preschool age children. The aim of the thesis is to map the method and the amount of spent time together between parents and children, while at the same time finding out finding out how the coronavirus pandemic affected their time together. Initial sections are composed of theoretical foundation for family issues, the developmental specifics of the preschool child, as well as the characteristics of quality time between parents and children. The practical part includes quantitative research in the form of questionnaires and qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews with parents of preschool children. The coronavirus pandemic has affected some families not only in the amount of time spent together but also in the preferences of certain joint activities.
