The aim of this bachelor thesis wis to describe the municipality and municipal authorities within their delegated and autonomous power and to define basic terms associated with this topic. The thesis introduces the czech system of public administration to the reader and describes its history and development. The theoretical part of the thesis also describes the most important legal and economic aspects of the delegated and autonomous power of municipalities. The aim of the practical part was to focus on the municipality of Lišov, to describe the concrete municipal authorities and their performance of delegated and autonomous power for the observed period of the years 2010-2019, to describe the specific activities and their development over time.
