Monitoring of floodplain vegetation of the Hučina stream (Černý Kříž, Šumava) seven years after a hydric restoration

The Hučina stream is located near Černý Kříž in the Šumava National Park and is part of the Hornovltavský luh complex. The Hučina bed was modified in the past in connection with the floating of wood. After the creation and approval of the project, part of the flow was restored in 2012. Since then, there has been regular monitoring of the vegetation in this area. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to document the flora and vegetation of the Hučina floodplain seven years after hydric restoration. Methods of phytocenological relevés and groundwater level measurement were used. The meadow part of the Hučina floodplain with 14 permanent plots was monitored. A total of 42 plant species were recorded in the monitored area. The data obtained immediately after the restoration, together with the data of this bachelor thesis, are useful for monitoring the development of plant communities
