Vyhodnocení masné užitkovosti u vybraných plemen ovcí

In mountain and foothill areas, sheep farming is very suitable in the agricultural sector. Its popularity is still growing, and its enormous advantage is that sheep graze the land even in hard accessible areas and thus contribute to landscape maintenance. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is evaluation of meat efficiency of two selected meat breeds of sheep in a selected breeding. It is focused on Suffolk and Charollais breeds. To achieve this goal, a set of data obtained from yield control database SCHOK (Association of Sheep and Goat Breeders), based on which the meat efficiency was evaluated. Specifically, these were average daily gains, weight in 100 days, muscle height and fat in 100 days.
