Sustainability in Rural Development and Human Resources

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the impact of human resources and culture of their society in chosen municipality in connection with sustainability and proposing changes to improve the current situation. The theoretical part presents basic concepts related to the given issue. There are mainly characterized concepts related to sustainability, rural development, human resources and, last but not least, culture. The practical part deals with research itself of the current situation in a particular municipality. Information was obtained from primary sources, which includes particularly questionnaire surveys, own observation and interviews, as well as from secondary sources, where electronic sources and literature dealing with the municipality may be included. After processing and evaluating of all data and information, proposals were made that could be implemented by the municipal board in the future, which could lead to sustainable development and improve the quality of life in the municipality
