The importance of fairy tales for children in elementary school - analysis of selected stories

This bachelor's thesis aims to explore the effect of fairy tales on adolescent pupils in primary school. Theoretical part concerns about meaning of fairy tales, symbols,romani culture and children's art. Practical part contains research of school children's art, its interestingness and of similarities and differences in children's artistic expression. Twenty 7th grade pupils from two different classes participated in the research, with one class having history of good marks while the other consists of romani children with bad marks, who repeated a year. In the conclusion part the results of the research and of children's art analysis are summarized
