Alena Mornstajnova?s language and the style of her novels

This bachelor thesis deals with the language analysis of all novels by Alena Mornštajnová published so far. They include the following novels: Slepá mapa, Hotýlek, Hana, and Tiché roky. The author is understood to be a phenomenon of current literature. The thesis consists of two main parts - a theoretical one and a practical one. The first part inspects not only the characteristics of artistic functional style, but also the author´s biography. The practical part is divided into three plans: a thematic one, composition one and a linguistic one. The greatest attention is dedicated to the last plan. It examines language resources from the perspective of individual layers, which are the phonetic, morphological, lexical or syntactic layer.
