Bullying and its impact on adolescent functioning

The work deals with bullying, especially in the school environment, and its impact on the social functioning of adolescents. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of bullying, its types and actors. Subsequently, to the period of adolescence, the development of identity and changes that accompany a person during adolescence, then to mental states related to bullying, such as depression and anxiety, and last but not least to the prevention, treatment and consequences of bullying. The practical part consists of a transcript of three interviews with respondents, who went through bullying during adolescence, especially in the school environment.. Interviews were conducted with respondents who attended different schools and had different financial and family backgrounds. Each respondent dealt with bullying differently.
