Christianity as a source of inspiration for spirituality development in kindergartens

The master thesis focuses on development of child spirituality of preschool children based on Christianity in present kindergarten. The aims of the thesis are i) to review the theoretical background for child spirituality development in pre-primary education, ii) to define basic starting points of spirituality, developmental psychology and children's faith development and iii) in relation to the thesis main topic to deal with current curriculum and design a suitable way for implementing Christian values to spiritual dimension of children's personality. The practical part thus comprises an educational project for secular preschools focused on selected biblical stories that can support personal development, child spirituality and understanding of fundamental values
