Corporate culture and its impact on job satisfaction

The aim of this diploma thesis is to characterize corporate culture by specifying its critical dimensions and to propose changes leading to increased job satisfaction in the organization. The theoretical part explains the issues of corporate culture, knowledge economy and cultural dimensions according to G. Hofstede. It also deals with the topics of stimulation, motivation and job satisfaction. Part of the theoretical section is the methodological part of the work explains the procedures of the entire analysis, which was subjected to the subject. The practical part deals with the characteristics of the corporate culture with the help of specification of the cultural dimensions of the chosen enterprise and determines whether the company is directed towards the knowledge economy or not. Data were obtained through two investigations - VSM 94 & 2013 and TBSD. To determine the current job satisfaction in the company it was created a questionnaire, which is called the "Job Satisfaction Questionnaire". In conclusion, all the essential facts were summarized for better clarity and proposals were made to improve the identified deficiencies in the company being investigated
