Siblings in a Group of Preschool Children and Their Artistic Expression.

The bachelor thesis deals with the options of art therapy approaches in the kindergarten environment. It focuses on the artwork of sibling pairs. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, it addresses the characteristics of child and childhood, and child development in physical, mental and social terms. It deals with the influence family and family environment, siblings and sibling constellations on the child's development. It also touches on the importance and content components of preschool education and exposure to peer group. It describes basic features of children's artistic expression and the theoretical possibilities of the overlap of art therapy to art in kindergarten. In the second, practical part of the thesis, case reports of four sibling pairs and an analysis of their artwork are presented, in the context of the circumstances and period of its origin. The research has been carried out in a kindergarten environment. The aim was to find out how the artistic expression of siblings reflects the experience of the family environment, how the siblings interact with each other and whether this fact appears in their artistic expression. We found out how the joint presence of these siblings affects their activity in the group and pointed out the possibility of opening the way to solving their adaptation problems and individual themes through artwork
