Evolution of the European Integration from the Fall of the Berlin Wall to the EU Enlargement in 2004 (with the focus on France and French points of view)

The objective of this final work is to outline and explain the complicated process of changes and peripetias in the development of the European integration and the European Union during the years 1989-2004. The final work depicts the way Europe has taken after the fall of the iron curtain and what influence and impact it has had on France. It deals with the role of France in this process, it mentions the postures of French politicians towards particular European issues and relating to this, the final work tries to describe the situation concerning the home affairs in France in the above mentioned period of time. It aims to analyse the attitude of France and the French public opinion towards the enlargement of the European Union in 2004. At the same time it focuses on the main priorities of this country in the process of the European integration
