French presentatifs and their Czech equivalents

The topic of this thesis is French presentational construction and its Czech equivalents. The theoretically concieved introduction defines presentational construction as a part of speech of contemporary French as I had previously studied in French and Czech specific sources. The following part individualizes particular presentational construction from the semantic point of view in addition to its syntax function point of view. I based my research on compilation of presentational construction excerptions which I had found in French literary texts in comparison with their Czech equivalents. I tried to translate examples of presentational constructions taken from French press. I analysed the role of French presentational construction in function sentence perspective and wheather the role was followed when translated into Czech or not
