CHILDREN `S CHOIRS IN THE REGION OF SOUTH BOHEMIA AND THEIR PRESENT POSSIBILITIES

This diploma work occupies with children`s choirs in the region of South Bohemia and studies their present possibilities. The first part of the work concentrates on the history of singing and choirs in Bohemian countries, the emphasis is put especially on childern`s choirs. This topic is closely connected with the categorisation of these choirs into selective and non - selective (school ) ones. The dissertation presents information about exquisited choirs - their history, structure, repertoire, leading personalities, public activities and refers to their present possibilities
