The objective of this study is to analyze the perception of the residents of the city of Valencia on the social impact of the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon and to identify the factors in which the indicators of perceived impacts are grouped. A sample of 391 residents in the city was collected through a convenience sampling, with a mean age of 34.26 (SD=11.78) and a distribution of 56.5% were men and 43.5% were women. Thirty-two items were used, evaluated on a five-point Likert scale, about possible benefits and costs associated with holding the event in the city.
