The PhD thesis presented in this manuscript aims at developing a measurement protocol able to assess the real performance of natural ventilation systems in dwellings. It particularly focuses on passive-stack ventilation systems, which represent a large part of natural ventilation systems implemented in French dwellings and which are involved in hybrid ventilation systems. Measuring the aeraulic performance of natural ventilation is a challenging task, which is even more challenging when speaking of multi-zones buildings.
