In the field of defence, the armies are continuously increasing their operational requirements to improve war techniques in the battlefields. In this context, improving the capabilities of smart ammunition thanks to low-cost solutions is crucial for the military industry. Studies of innovative aerodynamic architectures and control devices are required to meet these objectives. This thesis is a preliminary study which main goal aims at contributing to the design of 155 mm extended range guided projectiles fitted with aerodynamic surfaces.
