This thesis focuses on the role of a management tool in the identity construction of anorganization. The voluntary sector has faced many changes for several years, it is becomingmore professional and whose management tools are evolving. Following the implementation ofthe PACTE law and the changes it causes within the Social and Solidarity Economy, non-profitorganizations (NPO) must face new challenges. This work proposes to mobilize the theory ofsocial regulation to discuss the interpretation of NPO actors in the face of the new rules imposedon them, and thus give an explanatory framework for the identity building induced bymanagement tools.
