This thesis focuses on the life cycle assessment (LCA) of wood energy in domestic wood heating appliances in the Grand Est region. The study considers the stages of logging, transport (to the production industries and to the customers), production and combustion. The functional unit is one ton of green wood. Carcinogenic, non-carcinogenic, respiratory and climate change impacts are assessed using the IMPACT 2002+ Life Cycle Impact Assessment (LCIA) method. First, combustion was carried out in efficient installations. Then, the emissions from the totality of the domestic wood heating installations in the region were studied.
