This research describes the conflict and religious moderation movement map in two provinces, North Sumatra and North Sulawesi. The background of this study is that the patterns and factors that trigger conflict in the two provinces have a population with a majority of different religions. Likewise, it is not known how religious moderation in the two districts was popularized as a social movement or only as a top-down program or project. The study location is in Medan city, the capital city of North Sumatra, and Manado city as the capital city of North Sulawesi.
