INTERACTIVITY OF THE VIRTUAL WORLD IN EDUCATION

In the article the author focuses on developments that are aimed at the use of virtual technologies in education. The main characteristic of the virtual world is interactivity, which indicates the process of interaction between the user and the environment. With such interaction, educational information becomes interesting, emotionally colored and, accordingly, its assimilation will be higher than with the usual way of presenting the material. Among the software applications of virtual reality, the article highlights the most interesting ones that are already successfully used for educational purposes and serve as evidence of how far virtual reality technologies have advanced in education over the past ten years.
