The aim of the research is to look into a new solution for isotropic compact stars in the context of the $f(R,\,T)$ theory of gravity. We used the Buchdahl [H.A. Buchdahl, Phys. Rev. {\bf 116} (1959) 1027] metric potentials as input to deal with the field equations in the $f(R,\,T)$ framework. For different values of the coupling parameter $\chi$, graphical representation of the model parameters have been shown to canvass the analytical results more clearly. Interestingly, we have proven that for $\chi=0$, the standard General Relativity (GR) results can be recovered. A comparison of our obtained solutions with the GR results is also discussed. To study the effect of the coupling parameter $\chi$, the numerical values of the different physi...
