Inequality is one of the fundamental economic problems in Indonesia that has the potential to cause the non-optimal distribution of resources, economic instability, and may even lead to an economic crisis. This study discusses the three main aspects of inequality: the highest level of education attained, urban-rural area, and gender. Using IFLS data from 1993, 1997, 2000, 2007, and 2014, this study wants to enrich the empirical research, particularly the longitudinal studies.
