LGEP 2014 ID = 1653International audienceA wireless charging system for electric vehicle (EV) is considered. A 3D Finite Element (FE) model of the inductive coupler is developed in order to compute the inductances and the radiated magnetic field around the system. In addition, a circuit model associated to field computation allows determining the electric behavior of the system during charging. Simulation results are then validated by comparison with experimental measurements. The developed model allows the design of the system considering the optimization of the energy transfer and the radiated electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance
