International audienceA global solution to the problem of transient stabilization of multimachine power system with non-negligible transfer conductances was recently reported. The proposed scheme is a centralized nonlinear dynamic controller that ensures global asymptotic stability of the desired operating point. Due to technological and reliability considerations the exchange of information between generators is restricted, hence the need for decentralized controllers.
