International audienceIn this paper, we investigate the content delivery problem in the context of multi-antenna (MIMO) wireless networks. The single-antenna users, equipped with some cache memory, receive requested contents from the server through a multi-antenna base station. We propose a scheme that carefully combines the multicast and unicast capabilities offered by MIMO, as a function of the quality of channel state information at the transmitter side. Thereby we reveal the complementary roles of coded caching and MIMO transmission for content delivery
