International audienceIn this paper, we propose a framework for analyzing the performance of multiple–antenna wireless systems using the recently proposed Spatial Modulation (SM). More specifically, we derive upper bounds for computing the Average Bit Error Probability (ABEP) of Multiple–Input–Single–Output (MISO) systems over general fading channels. The framework accounts for arbitrary modulation schemes, and can handle both independent and correlated channels with arbitrary fading parameters. Monte Carlo simulations are shown to substantiate the proposed analytical derivation.
